New Table...

We saw this table on a lawn near our house with a sign that read $20. We purchased it, and I replaced the padding and cover....thanks to my new staple gun...and my new skill of using a drill gun....

Hazel's new camera

It is probably because I am a fanatic when it comes to snapping pics of my children. The fact that I love them so much, coupled with the fact that they are so tremendously gorgeous to me...results in TONS of pictures. I think Hazel has picked up on that because she used to say, "no more pictures of me", as if I was some shady paparazzi mom...but all of a sudden she fell in love with taking her own pictures. I would let her borrow my camera, and she would snap pics of, oh her potty, the rug, her sister, the wall, my backside...etc.

Our really good friends, the Nguyen family, sent the girls a little surprise with the instruction to buy them something they would like...so we did. Hazel Rei picked out her very own camera. It is a Fisher Price camera and it is virtually indestructible, which is great for Hazel. My favorite thing is when she takes it to Starbucks and just starts snapping pics at random people!!!

a new hobby

My beautiful mom was here for a bit in May. I never really thought of learning how to knit, thinking it was way "over my head"....but loved the idea of learning to do something from my Mom, and knew that it was something that I would always cherish. So, I finished my 1st scarf and I am happy with it.

It is simple, and yes it has flaws but I feel proud of myself and I am in love with my bamboo knitting needles.
